Remarks
IIIT Trichy focuses mostly on engineering students, and organisations participating in placement drives primarily target engineering students, it was easy for me to land my ideal job at Infosys. Candidates must pass the GATE exam and graduate with a minimum of 55 percent in the relevant field (50 percent for SC/ST), followed by GD and PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college's curriculum is up to date with current industry standards and is truly industrial friendly. The programme is aimed to teach kids about information technology and prepare them to become future leaders. The curriculum also aids students in concentrating on their research projects.
Placement Experience
The college's placement record has been excellent thus far; for our class, the college was able to achieve an 80% placement rate. The placement committee was extremely helpful and encouraging. As a result of their assistance, I was able to secure a 15 LPA placement offer from Infosys. During our batch, the greatest placement was 22 LPA, and the average package was roughly 9 LPA. During the placement drive, firms such as Amazon, Paytm, Siemens, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Capgemini, and others came to our campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was pretty affordable for me, I paid the fees at one time only. The course amounted to 1.35 Lakhs. Merit-based scholarships are also available at the college. Scholarships are also available for SC/ST students. State and federal government scholarships are also available. Campus Life
The college events are excellent, and the college's campus life is likewise excellent. Every year, at the end of the even semester, the college also celebrates Institute Day. On campus, there are also sports activities and tournaments. Atrang the college's literature festival, which featured famous figures from several businesses, and which was a big hit with the students. Ek Bharath Shresht Bharat is a programme in which students are swapped between IIITs to learn about India's various cultures.
