IIIT Manipur Review

The college admission is through JOSAA and seats are also allotted through JOSAA counseling. I cleared my JEE and but my JEE score was not so good it was an average score and my academic record was also normal so during my JOSAA counseling I was allotted a seat in IIIT Manipur. The faculty of the college is very good with a very good research experience.

The curriculum of the college is designed to tell us everything about the coding language ad impart us with all the basics and advanced levels of coding and programing language. The curriculum is up to date and it meets all types of industrial guidelines. The faculty of the college is supportive and cooperative they provide us with a very good environment for studies. The faculty are not only Ph.D. level but have brilliant industrial and research work experience.

The college has a very good internship program. The college is able to invite more than 30+ companies to take part in the college internship program. The average internship stipend ranges from 20000 to 56000. We also have to submit a written assignment after completing the internship.

The only drawback with the college is its placement as a comparison to other IIITs the college placement percentage is very low it hardly reaches 75% mark. The placement highest placement offer reaches up to 11 LPA and the average package is around 7 LPA only which is a little on the lower side in comparison to the rest of IIITs colleges. The college needs to work hard on its placement standards.

The college does not have any individual scholarship program but scholarship through MHRD is available. The education loan facility is also available. The complete course fee is around 8 lakh which is really on the higher side n comparison to the kind of placement that the college provides.

The college's infrastructure is very well maintained. The college has high-speed WiFi connectivity. The college classrooms are properly ventilated. The library is big and all types of academic books of all domains are available and many bestsellers authors book is also available and if any book that we wanted to read we can raise the demand with college librarian and they will make the books available within few days. The college administrative staff is very cooperative and supportive.

The hostel of the college is good. The rooms have facilities like beds, almirahs and study tables. The rooms are properly ventilated. The hostel wardens are professional the hostel staff is properly trained. The hostel discipline is properly followed and maintained. The hostel mess menu is limited to certain kinds of dishes only. The hostel security is good. The hostel is always kept clean and proper hygiene is maintained in the hostel.
