Entrance Preview

Uttarakhand pre medical test. I scored 145 out of 200. I opted for this college because its the best government college in uttarakhand. I got it in 3rd counseling.I chose MBBS over every other course because its my dream job and I want to serve the society and there can't be any other simpler way than becoming a doctor that gives you decent lifestyle and a good purpose of living.

Internships Opportunities

I'm a final year student so haven't attended internship yet. Stipened is very low here when compared to other states, it's about 8000 that too comes on interval of 3 months.

College Events

4.5

Crescendo is our annual function celebrated every year. 3 days of cultural activities preceding by 1 n 1/2 week of sports activities and 2 days of literary activities. It's a mega event that help us in improving our extracurricular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure at our time was good, 15000 as tuition fees. But right now the state government had raised it to 45000 making the overall fee more than 1 lakh. Why would a person pay this much high fee and still fill bond of 3 years. It's like extortion of students.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is pretty good, gender ratio is good, girls are much in all of the batches. Because of 30% reservation by state government. Though being a boy I had to work pretty hard to get a seat here but still I support this reservation.

Exam Structure

Exams are pretty soul eating because of huge syllabus but if you read regularly it works out. There's nothing as shortcut, unless you make basics you won't be able to write a single word. Labs are pretty good with basic facilities.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are pretty good and knowledgeable and some are good clinicians who helped me build up my basics in clinical medicine. All the departments are well equipped with PG JRs, SRs, assistant professor, associate professors and professors. HODs of every department are very best clinicians of their time and had a glorious past.

There are very much interesting other curriculum activities other than just verbal teaching and tests Like there was an anatomy drawing competition based on brain rangoli so these help us to remember the concepts as well as they are part of fun As well as there are many fests the buggest fest named pyrexia also happens in which last year sony nigam waas invited

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college curriculum is relevant to our course in this field we save lives of many patients which influenced me the most that's why I always wanted to become a doctor. After the inter introduction of clinical posting we get early exposure to the patients which prepare us for real word application of our knowledge. Time to time exams are conducted here to test are abilities and areas and subjects so that we can improve in that particular field.

Attendance criteria is 75 percent it should be reduced More practical based ques should be asked in the exam and more emphasis on practical knowledge should be done. Proper class test of each subject should be conducted. We have yearly based exams.
