Remarks

For admission at my time, we have to give AKTU UPSEE exam, nowadays from the year 2020 onwards, the admission process is done completely through the JEE Mains exam, and counselling is done on the JEE Mains AIR. At that time the exam was not very difficult, even if you have done good preparation for JEE Main exam, you would easily pass this exam with good marks. But now the admission is done based on JEE Main score. The admission process starts with online counselling after JEE Main exam, the official website is UPSEE and after that offline reporting takes place in which you have to fill out the registration form and verify all the necessary documents. After successful choice filling and allotment during online counselling, you have to pay 20000/- to freeze your seat, this is part of your fees also so basically deduct this 20K amount from your 1st-year college fees. Overall the admission process is simple and smooth if done carefully and following instructions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The College curriculum is good. Don't expect too much from the faculty, you have to do most of the stuff from your side but definitely, seniors will help you out to figure out your problem. The curriculum is like there are two Sessional exams between each semester which are easy to pass even if you study for the last week (just get familiar with the subject during the semester - complete blackout of the subject and mugging up in the last week won't help). At the end of the semester, there is the End-Semesters exam, they are important to give it time, as to score well in end-semesters you have to study for about a month if you didn't study throughout the semester.

Placement Experience

4

You become eligible for placements as you enter the 4th year, the placement of our college is improving year by year. In the year 2021, Paytm came to our college first time and hired many students giving an average package of 10 lacs per annum. The highest package is 32 lacs off-campus. There's mix combination of students who want to go for higher studies and those who want to go for campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this is a government college the fees are in the mid-tier, I think most of the people will be financially sound to bear up the fees. Still, we have a scholarship and a pretty active Dean of Student Welfare staff that takes care of your scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is not too big the only place you'll like will be the playground, canteens, your Hostels (maybe), or roaming out. Also, we have an under-construction sports complex, that's very big and includes most of the sport. Once completed, it will become the best infrastructure present on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are 12 hostels on the campus, 3 for girls and the remaining 9 for boys. For B.Tech. students the best Hostel is Raman A and C block (for 3rd and 4th years). Apart from this, the hostel for 1st year is Ramanujan, it is also good, food quality of both Ramanujan and Raman blocks is good. Talking about the 2nd year hostel Aryabhatta, it's the worst, the building of the hostel from outside just looks good, but everything else in the hostel is just the worst. Food is also bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
