Remarks
Xavier's honestly has a pretty decent atmosphere that is very conducive to study. There is nothing that will make you go “Whoa! So this is college life!”. It's a repetion of your 12 years of school experience. What it does is to basically put you right back in the mindset of disciplined school learning after a stretched out holiday of 2–3 months. We just continue what we have done till now, and there's no scope to get our heads turned around. Sometimes it feels like too much. This continues till we graduate.
Course Curriculum Overview
although Xavier's is renowned for its academic excellence, but students' personal experiences may vary according to the course they undertake. My course had some of the best and brighest minds teaching us, and I'm thoroughly happy with it. But I've had complaints from my friends from other departments about some 'not-so-good' teachers as well. The courses as structured quite tightly, and there is no scope to let loose even for a moment. Ancillary subjects are treated at par with honours subjects, which gives us a comprehensive learning experience.
