Entrance Preview
There was common entrance exam which was carried our by College of commerce. Only three Institutes were participating. College of commerce was well know for its staff and education standard hence i have chosen this.
Internships Opportunities
During two months at Kirloakar Cummins Ltd rs 70 PM was stipend given by company. After MBA I have joined at Kirloskar Ghatage Patil Auto Ltd as Management Trainee and was offered Rs 1250 PM.
Placement Experience
Very few big companies were at campus at that time. As I had decided to start business at that time I have selected local company. After 18 months of service I have resigned and started of my own business.
College Events
Annual elections and gathering was the events at that time. Some sport events were also organised. I took part in Chess and become University champion for fifth time and represented Captain of University team. Our team had secured third place in India in all university teams.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee was Rs 1500 per term. Exam fee was Rs 250 every year. However i have been granted waiver and second year because of grant by university.Fee structure was not so expensive and overall students can manage their expenses within Rs 1000 per month. Fee was not much and facilities were good.
Fees and Financial Aid
College was giving free ship for those got rank in university exam. No special waiver was there.As the fee was not much loan from bank was not necessary in those days.Many students are from Good well done families and total expenses per year were not a burden.
Campus Life
Our campus was quite fine and we were enjoying the study as our batch of selected 30 students only. We have participated in many Games and debate arranged by college. Those were days when students were concentrating on studies first especially for this MBA course.
Alumni/Alumna
Our senior were really good and offered lot of help in arranging seminars and suggestions about books etc.We have arranged joint picnics and group discussions about various subjects of common interest. Our professor has offered additional books to me for study matters.
Exam Structure
Annual examination was conducted but it was for 60 markes out of 100. For remaining marks counted out of 10 for terminal exa, tutorials, seminar performance and group discussions.I was enjoying my studies hence no hectic day or like happens with me.
Faculty
Our staff members was very cooperative and studious in respective subject. There was no time limit for some classes of Marketing and Mr Bhanushali and Mr Pange was our best choice.Mr Pange was Senior Executive in one Ltd company having all sort of practical experience in Marketing which was very helpful to all students.
