I got an engineering seat through KCET. It takes several steps for applying for an engineering seat after the entrance exam. There is a cut off ranking for respective categories to get their interested colleges. Eligible students need to go to a counselling centre for applying for colleges where they a get a password from KEA for option entry.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Electronics and communication course for my studies. This course has an advantage in both IT and Core companies. College recruited many faculties to handle the curriculum of every student. In our department there are 180 students are there each faculty handels 40 students in their studies. Faculties are well educated. Every faculty are graduated with a master's degree in their respective fields. When comes to exams there are two internal tests and a sem exam. By examining the previous year's papers you can get average marks in every subject.
Fees and Financial Aid
For Students who got seats from CET, it will be around 30k to 70k depending upon their ranks in cet. For those who got seats from the management quota and comedk it would be around 1.5 lakh. Scholarships are provided for students like ssp and nsp. Campus placements are also good companies like Infosys, cognizant, Accenture..comes to recruit the students every year
Campus Life
It is a very nice campus located near to the city and has a clean environment system. Every year there will be a freshers party for the 1st year students. There is a separate block for the library and journals. There are so many clubs in college. the students gets an advantage in technical fields such as IEEE, ISTE etc
