The college management is fine. Their are certain drwbacks as are in any college but the overall experience in the college makes up for it all.

CBSE XII Exam- 95.2% I had chosen HL College of Commerce because it is the best Commerce College in Gujarat and among the top colleges in India.

The course curriculum is student friendly with the division of year in two semesters which makes it even better. I took the elective- Advanced Accounting and Auditing and in the 3 years of graduation I was able to cover all the subjects pertaining to this elective in an appropriate manner.

No, the college doesn't provide internship as is the usual structure followed across India for B.Com.

Job Opportunities for students are many as there is full fledged running placement mechanism in the college for students who are seeking job. Companies do come over the campus with decent job profiles and packages. Also the students are developed and groomed such that they can go for variety of fields.

The Annual Function- Formal celebration and prize giving ceremony. Days- Students celebrating a week on various themes. Alumni Meet- Chance for the alumni to get together. Expressions- Annual cultural Fest. Foundation day celebration. All the basic and important days are celebrated like Independence Day, Republic day, Gandhi Jayanti, Teachers' Day, Navratri Celebration

The fee structure is extremely feasible for all sections and classes of society. There is also half fees scheme for female students. The whole sum of fees of the 6 semesters for a female doesn't account for more than 5 thousand rupees. The facilities provided and grooming of students carried out in the college is far better than expected from a college with such low fees.

Scholarships are availed by students on merit, need and section of society basis. Also in the Annual Function, students who prove their merit in academics, cultural activities and sports are awarded with prize money as a reward and motivation.

The campus is one of the best in Ahmedabad with a great batch of students. The gender ratio as opposite to many colleges is in favor of females as females are more. Extracurricular activities are the life of the campus and continuously various clubs function for these activities. Student diversity is there but all come together and carry out the work and study with compassion.

The hostel facilities are provided to both girls and boys at a convenient and walking distance from the campus. All the amenities like furniture, food, electricity, water and security are provided in the hostel. The fees is very low as compared to any hostel or PG facility. For girls' hostel the fees is not more than 17 thousand rupees for one year given in two equal installments every semester. Also we cannot forget the experience of hostel life and learnings from it.

Alumni network of the college is very strong. A full fledged running alumni cell works in the college which leads to better communication of alumni and current students for any kind of help in monetary terms or through knowledge. Also alumni are welcomed in all the events of the college and the charges are discounted.

The exam structure has internal and external examination pattern in every semester accounting for 6 internal exams and 6 external exams. This way the course is divided and there is lesser load on students. Also their is provision of 30% of score weightage of the internal exams, assignments and attendance which becomes helpful.

The faculty of college is qualified and knowledgeable enough to teach the core of their subjects and relate them to other subjects very well. The communication network between students and faculty is helpful for the students to cop up with doubts and queries.
