Entrance Preview

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST, It was not a tough one as it was govt aided college, we had a simple entrance test followed by a interview.The fight was for free seat in the college for honours Quota.

No placement was available, many student has gone to ca 7 icwa firm some has gone to medicine representative, some has gone for competitive exam like bank po, state govt jobs, some started their own businesse.

College Events

We had our annual day. We celebrate it in a very passionate way, Due to lack of funds we had to struggle lot for celebrating. We have gone to many small business man and big shop for sponsoring our college annual function.

Fees and Financial Aid

No we have not got any scholarship & loan facility but ST & SC qouta student gets scholarship. The course fee was so less as anyone did'nt require any kind of financial help, student can raise the amount on there own through family or relatives.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni are good they try to support and give aids to some deserving student. They had built library and student common rooms, donated 10 computer to computer labs, provided free wifi to all students.

Exam Structure

No exam was good giving us enough gap in between exams, labs were good giving good marks in internal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had taken commerce when i was in the college and the curriculum is very easy but some time its get borring because there are few subject are there where the teaching that the teacher is giving is either going above the head or not understable because those some subject have no use in the daily life and that are not usefull.

Value for Money Education in Rourkela

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of B.Com under Sambalpur University covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Management and Taxation which are essential for future studies and careers in finance or commerce. My Experience at PN College: Campus Life, Cources, and Everything in Between

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.

My goal and i would like to work as a cost accountant..so for this purpose i have choosen this course for study because without degree and knowledge in commerce i have not achieve my goal. In our course the ratio of facility and student is 7:250. Our faculty is well educated and completed all the qualification required to became a professor in college and also awarded from our President of india.. Teaching style, method is very much easy and clear. Every students can easily understand the overall study course. Thr term exam is conducted in 3 month and overall 2 exam is conducted in a semister..1st term exam is 20mark and it is very easy to score the mark but 2nd or final semester exam is 80mark and it is little difficult to score more marks as compared to 1st term exam..

Remarks:

Positive is there are many trees around the campus but the negative one is there is no proper boundary wall for the campus, anyone can jump through the wall and can get inside or go outside of the college campus.
