You get admission through jee mains. Home state and various other quotas are applicable. Raipur is standing 6th position in terms of avg package compared to the other 32 nits. All the requirements related to the admission process, fees and all Inquiries can be done from the official website of nit Raipur and all the previous placement records and specific branch wise placement are also shown on the site of nit Raipur. As I am from the general category I didn't avail any reservations benefit but nits usually contain a lot of reservation +the additional home state quota. The college is worth going to and can be explored. The only disadvantage of the college is that it doesn't have sufficient hostels, a new campus is almost in completion of the nitrr after that there a lot of scopes that this college will go far high from its current NIRF ranking. There is no problem with the administration, it's smooth and very friendly and always there to help students. The college is very good and worth exploring.
Course Curriculum Overview
As it's a nit the system is followed According to the govt Norms and followed strictly. All teachers are doctorates in their respective fields and the ratio is 110:1 student teacher ratio, there is two sem per year and it's not too tough to pass.
Internships Opportunities
There is a lot of companies approaching the College for internship. The two main positions are SDE and the other is the role of a data analyst, these two are highly paid. You need some projects to showcase in the internship to gain trust.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio is very high almost 90% and various companies participate in it, the highest package was 57.5 lakhs this year and the minimum was 5 lakhs. Students are eligible to sit in placement in their 4 year onwards
Fees and Financial Aid
The jobs are plenty if going in non core but are a shortage for the core. The fees is quite affordable for the college and assistance is provided to those whose family income is below 5 lakhs an NSP scholarship is also available by the central govt for Student having a family income below 5 lakhs.
Campus Life
Campus Life is great in nit Raipur and there is a lot to explore. There are inter nit competition and various competitions with different colleges in states. There is a very nice library that can be explored and technocrazy and various other fests are conducted in college.
