My JEE score was not too good so I was not able to secure a good college one of my friends suggested me Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology I applied for college admission and filled out the application form for the SAEEE test (it is an entrance exam to secure the seat in Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology) and I was able to clear the exam. I was shortlisted on the basis of my SAEEE exam and my academic record and allotted a seat in the college.

The curriculum of the college is up to date and follows all kinds of latest industrial guidelines and international rules and regulation. The curriculum helps us to understand every technological outcome very deeply and the importance of technology and technological impacts on the developments of the industries. The faculty of the college is very good and helpful. The faculty is not only of PhD level but also help us to clear the concepts in every easy and simple way. The faculty also have very good research and industrial exposure that is very helpful for our professional knowledge. The faculty of the college is the powerhouse of knowledge for us.

The internship program is optional but most of my batchmates took part in the college internship program so that we can learn some professional experience and ability to implement our academic knowledge in the corporate sectors. The average stipend for an internship was around 40k.

The college placement packages are not too high but that does not mean that we don't have any good placement options and good placement offers the highest placement offer of the college is up to 28 LPA and the average salary package stood up to 10 LPA. Amazon, Hitachi, Yamaha, Adobe, Oracle, Federal Bank, HSBC Technologies are the major recruiter of the college that participated in the college placement drive. The placement committee of the college is also very good and professional.

The college provides scholarships on a merit basis and the toppers of the college receive scholarships through Dr.Jeppiaar Remibai merit scholarship through this scholarship program certain percentage of discount is given to the topper, second and third rank holder of the college.

The college infrastructure is very well maintained. The college classrooms are properly ventilated and connected with the digital board and the computer set is also available in the classrooms. The annual fest name is Cultural of the college. The college library is the house of many books related to our domain and many best seller books are also available. The college has labs for every department and the labs are high-end and equipped with all kinds of instruments that are very helpful for us during the research work.

The hostel is very well maintained. The hostel also has AC as per the budget The AC hostel fee is around 175000 and the Non-AC hostel fee is 80000. The hostel rooms are big and properly ventilated. The hostel mess food quality is very good and hygienic. The wardens and the staff are very cooperative and professional. The hostel provides us with 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel security is very good.
