IIT jodhpur engineering

IIT Jodhpur is one of the best universities in Rajasthan and was ranked 43rd place among engineering colleges by the National institute ranking framework. It is well known for its research and development programs and centres of excellence which are backed by the French government. Also, my JW rang complied with its cutoff and hence I decided to secure my admission at IIT Jodhpur. The general opening rank for mechanical engineering is 4359 while the closing rank is 7083. However for the female category the opening rank is 8907 while the closing rank is 10157. The faculty-student ratio is 8:1.

IIT Jodhpur campus is located 24 km away from Jodhpur city on the national highway that connects Jodhpur and Nagpur. It is known for its interesting research programs student life and cultural festivals. Ignus is a techno-cultural Inter College youth festival held which involves participants from all over the country and concerts by excellent performers. Varchas, is an annual Inter College flagship sports festival of IIT Jodhpur that has various sports competitions like athletics, football, cricket, basketball, badminton, chess table tennis, tennis, volleyball coma, and Jodhpur mini-marathon. Other interesting activities involve literary arts, stargazing, dramatics, quizzes, music, and fine arts.
