Good but with some of the bads

If IT sector students have minimum subject knowledge they will surely placed in the campus selections. But for core sector they have to struggle a bit because no campus placements in core side and they to acquire job of their own.

VSAT is the college entrance examination and apart from this one can get admission from IIT-JEE or AIEEE or EAMCET. Seats in the B.Tech stream depends on the score you get from the competetive exams. I opt for this college because at that time it matches with my financial background and it got a good reputation because of LAVU RATAIAH sir.

Course structure is good and based on the 4 years of the engineering programme.We also got minor subjects like Management and IT and General studies from the second year of B.Tech. we will get degrees of it at the end of the engineering. Research is ones own interest but the labs are not up to the mark when compared with KLU which is in vijayawada.

Yes, it will provide the internship but one have their own interest to get internship in good company. College doesn't have tie ups with good companies and it will not show any company. They will call to the company on behalf of us after we finished all the regulations of the company which we have to do internship.They will show companies at the death days but they all are small scale industries.

The highest package is 3.0 lakhs and it is only TCS and it is the only organization which will recruit bulk number that is around 110 members. Remaining software companies will recruit only single digit numbers.IT sectors like ECE,CSE,IT, will be placed around 60% (13-15 companies of software)Core sectors like MECH,EEE,CIVIL about 20-25% only.(1 or 2 not more than that core companies) only SCHNEIDER for EEE.PG courses also the 40%.

Vignan Mahotsav is the big event celebrated every year in the college and it has a tough competition because it is a national level event and so many colleges from other states also participates in it. As usual remaining fests also celebrates but not as much high as vignan Mahotsav.

Top rankers from competitive exams will get 80% fee wavier for the first year and for the remaining years the top 2 ranker will get 40,000 as a reward and from 3-5 will get 20,000 as a reward for a year and it was given in the vignan mahotsav.Normally the fee is 65,000 per semester (only Tution fee) and extra fees for exams and the hostel.

I think there are no scholarships and the loans, we have to get from the known local banks only. Scholarships like helping the foreign students for their needs because of language problem and as a tutor in the vignan intermediate college for the PG students etc.

Gender ratios are depends on the departments which we selected. Example for Biotech dept 25 ladies and 2 men only. For EEE 100 gents and 10 ladies only.For ECE, CSE almost same ratio more or less. like these. There are 14 different clubs like short films, music, painting, sports, debates, singing etc and we can change the club in the 2nd year if we don't like it.

Hostel for a minimum of 4 members and separate AC and non AC rooms are available.For AC rooms we have to pay the power bill separately of which we used where it is not applicable in non AC rooms.There are no paying guests in hostel.The hostel food is quiet good and tasty as compared to other institutions.

There is no interaction at all because raging is strictly prohibited and frankly I don't know any of my seniors. My friends know some seniors because they stays in hostel.So it is an advantage as well as disadvantage that raging is not there in the college.

3 mid exams and 1 final exam and 1 internal lab and 1 external lab is there per semester and mini projects from 3rd year.Exams are not frequent. Exams are very strict in the university that there is no chance of copying in any format (internal or external) and as usual other department faculty will be very strict for other streams.

Our faculty is from mostly IIT'S and NIT's (almost 75%) and the minimum qualification for a asst.professor is an M.TECH degree from a reputed institution.We cant expect 100% from any thing and so most of the faculty have good knowledge about the subject and interest in teaching but some faculty are there in every year in their respective departments who are not good in teaching and clearing doubts.
