The college Atmosphere is very much likely and we never feel like we are stressed. It encourages to grow a Student both professionally. Because of all the reasons It is unique and very much popular.

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET exam as my entrance exam. I got 14000 in that entrance eamcet exam. I like mathematics more than the other subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, civics, economics, accounts, English, Sanskrit. So I joined in intermediate ( M.P.C ) in Narayana junior college at Kurnool.so I wrote eamcet as my entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I got seat in Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology at Panyam, Nandyal, Kurnoo district. I took CSE branch. I like little bit of programming but I am fear about programming. Course is somewhat tough and difficult and different also.

Internships Opportunities

I don't have so much experience on internship. Companies will come in during the 4th year. Maxmimun most of the top companies came as per previous years. They offer High package, and are very popular MNC companies.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements is somewhat less than other colleges. Companies like TCS, wipro, IBM, Tech mahendra, Infosys, etc., last year approximately above 50% students are placed in information technology. In other branches like computer science approximately above 60% are placed.

College Events

2.5

Exams are conducted in very strict manner. Time sense is very perfectly maintained during exams. If we are late for even by 1 minute also they won't allow you to write the exam. It was not chilled out day on the exams. Labs are also very strict. Mobile phones are not allowed to labs and examination halls.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Generally normal fees for our college is 68,000 including jntua fees, stationary and other fees. Transport fees from Kurnool to college is 17,000. It is very expensive. The fee structure is different to those who ara avail of Reimbursement or any Scholarships. They have to pay 33,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided for minority groups like BC, SC, SE. They will get 2,500 per year. Fee reimbursement is also provided to those categories. Fee reimbursement is provided to the students whose parental annual income is below 1 lakh for all categories. Education loans also provided for those who are in need.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio in computer science and information technology: boys-40% and girls-60%. In other branches boys were 70% and girls were 30%. Campus life is enjoying and interesting. Our college is good in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, labs, sports, competitions, robotics and debates

Hostel Facilities

3

I am a hostler. The college hostel is good and its a bit expensive too. In hostel there are 4 members per room. Beds are provided separately for each student. For Morning they provide breakfast and milk, for afternoon they provide lunch, for evening they provide snacks and milk again in night they provide dinner. Hostel food is yummy.Hostel fees is 60,000 per head.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors guide us in a proper way by providing valuable suggestions regarding the campus placements. Our alumni network is also very broad.Every Month we will invite our alumni students and we welcome them to share their experience. They are very much Interactive and are always ready to help us.

Exam Structure

When I was in final year, our college conducted a fest named SAMAROOH. In that festival we conducted lot of technical and cultural activities like paper presentation, essay writing competition, rangoli competition, flash mob, dance programs and so many games. Other colleges are also visited our college and participated actively in that event.

Faculty

4

In Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology there exists a huge Faculty who are well qualified. All are very experienced candidates. Some faculty with m.tech and some faculty with dual degrees too. All are interested and dedicated to the respective subjects. They will teach with good examples and guide us in proper way.

Reviewed on Nov 2, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
