Student scores atleast 55% in their intermediate examination and from last year students must need to qualify JEE mains entrance examination and score good rank for CSE branch. Admission in IERT can be taken through UPCET counselling process.

Our courses curriculum was designed by AKTU. I opted for Electronics Engineering branch, it provides variety of options for government(PSUs, ISRO, BARC, etc.) as well as private job sectors. Each branch consists fo approx. 70 students in a single year with 6-8 faculties in each. The faculty consists Mtech qualified professors and aproxx all professors have their doctorate degree in specific field.

AKTU provides us summer as well as winter (paid as well as free )internship offers. Students are required to make their resume on AKTU ERP portal and apply. You will also get stipend for your internship.

From 7th semester students become eligible for placement. IERT has its own placement cell and recruiting staff that helps in the hiring process. Companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Magic bricks, etc. The college also allows to focus on GATE, ESE and other government examination and do not pressurize for attendance. Our many seniors score good ranks in IES & IAS examinations.

Fees structure of Btech course in IERT is for first year 58000(tution fee) + 5000(caution money) + 8000(AKTU examination fee) but fee wavier students can pay only 16000 (Including AKTU examination fee) and after second year we need not to pay caution money. Hostel fees structure was 20000(lodging fee) + 5000(caution money) + mees fee . You will also get benifit of UP state scholarship.

Many kinds of fests were organised by our seniors like Udbhav, Freshers, krida kumbh, Margdarshan, Technovation and many more. Our college wants that students should focus on their studies rather than doing any other things. Their was a big central library in the college campus.

Their are different hostels for 1st year, 2nd year, hostel building for 3rd and 4th year both boys and also have girls hostel. 2nd year hostel for boys was placed in college campus and 1st year, 3rd year, 4th year and girls hostel are little far from the college. The menu of the mess was good with four meals per day except sundays. Our hostel life was awsome.
