MY COLLEGE AND IT'S SPECIALITIES

I got admission into JBIET college through the EAMCET exam. I appeared for eamcet exam and after getting results I have applied for counseling by paying the registration fee. In the second phase of counseling, I secured a seat in this college in the ECE department. I do not have any reservation benefits as I am from a general reservation. I secured 18672 in my eamcet rank.

I chose Electronics and communication engineering in my BTech. There are 120 students in my class and there are enough faculty to teach them. As we were divided into 2 sections and both sections have enough faculty. All the faculty who are teaching are highly qualified and highly experienced with a minimum of 10+ years. Term exams are conducted for every semester end and between this, we will write 2 mid-term exams and 5 unit tests which will be more helpful in Semester external exams.

My college provides various internships from organizations such as verzeo, blackbucks, pantech, a smart bridge for pre-final year students as part of their internship program. They provide enough guidance and at last, they will assign a project including the mentor to clarify any doubts regarding this.

My college has a good record for placements. From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. In the 6th semester my college gives special training called Campus recruitment training classes. This year total of 343 students got job offers from campus placements. Total 25 companies have visited our campus and recruited as many students as they want. The highest package is around 650000.

The actual fee in my college for all branches is 96000. We will get 35000 as a scholarship amount from the government for eligible students. For other students who stay in a hostel government also pays every year 5000 for every student who is eligible. My seniors got many job offers with a minimum package of 6 lakhs from companies like TCS, Wipro, ADP, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.

Every year my college annual fest. Separately each dept conducts its own programs during this period. During this time every department student actively participates in this and give their performance. For every 2 years, my college conducts a Gaint fest called INXIS for colleges under our educational society. My college also gives equal importance to sports as well as extra circular activites. It allows students to participate in inter-college championships.
