Remarks

The admission process is good. For enrolling in a course we have to pass 12 and 10 with % of 75 and more. I was not aware of the reservation benefit. But yes there are scholarships for girls and students from Jammu.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course of BTech in Cse as i have a keen interest in technology and it sector. The faculties are good and specialised. The exams were disturbed due to the pandemic of coronavirus.

Placement Experience

The placements are good in my college. The average package is 4 LPA. Cse students are well trained and adjusted with the placement training. Students learn a lot from this training.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got some discount on college tuition fees if someone pays it a little earlier in advance. Fees are average for middle-class family background and it's really a good college for pursuing BTech in Cse.

Campus Life

There are many social clubs like Zarurat, Suhasini Aashayein and Soch. The college has a yearly fest called Renaissance which includes dance competitions, talent hunt games and much more fun activities.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
