LIFE AT IMS CAMPUS

In my views, this college is good overall with good academics and placement records placement is increasing year by year still there is a need in practical labs and studies and personality development classes. Overall this college is good.

I gave upsee 2013 and took admission in ims through it and I finally got 16378 rank in general.it was not efficient to get any govt. or good pvt. college but i choosed it (imsec) because i have heard good about it from myfriends who were passed out of it.

Actually there is not any research focussing teaching pattern, there is a no oppurtunity of research work in this college. There is a good and talented faculty here to support the study but,college facility and management is not efficient also college do not provide good practical labs which creates a lot of problems for students. But in recent days, things are going better.

Yes, but very little generally in Aktu colleges imternship are rare as Internship are the important of part any engineering student career as it gives a shape to student workshop training which makes the student prepared for engineering with the help of new improved technologies in different and efficeint way. So, our college has contracts with many companies for internship and training program. But very few students becomes eligible for that because of few seats available at good places.

Academics of our college is very outstanding, its academic results are also at good level. So percentage of placement of our college is good due to good technical knowledge, many of good student gets job andplacement in the coursetime or right just after graduation as btech many companies in last month and placed a large no. of students on good packages. Mass recruiters like TCS have contracts with college with a huge no. of placements every year.

Like every other pvt colleges,our college have good records in celebrations there are many fests which are organise every year like tech fests, rangoli fest, robosoccers,which are highly appreciated by everybody every student participate with great enthusiasm in there fests and shows there talents. Everytype of talent is promoted by faculties here also in intercollege feats, our college students do well.

Fee structure is very normal like just a average engg. college of uptu its nearly about 90,000 per year plus hostel and security charge. It is very normal for student for any engineering college hostel charge is about 65,000 rs per year for double seater also pg's are also not expensive many students live outside the college in pvt. hostels.

Students who are in low financial condition,can get college help for getting education loans from various bank facilities. For very excellent students college also helps by reducing the fees on the basis of their performance and incentive schemes also FW (fee waiver) scheme is there under university which helps students to get free education many of my friend have availed it also government scholarship helps students a lot.

Campus life is awesome here. Green environment, great infrastructure, here is very beautiful. There is a large sport ground for play, gym, robote house, two canteens great library. As there is co-education in college, every girl and boys is treated as same. There is no bit of racism, sexism and relegious harrassment also varies societies are there related to games, robotics, debate, etc.

Hostels are same here as other pvt, colleges in uttar pradesh technical university (now APJAKTU ). It can be said that it is totally worth of its fees mess food is very good and Nutritionfull. Holidays have special added menu in fooding pg's are available outside the college.

Alumni meeting are the best ways to introduce the students with new technologies, job managaments, offers and research oppurtunity, and various new ideas as well.this makes student able to fight with problems which would to their in future life alumni meet is organised every fourth year and hundreds of alumnis share their experiences.

Exam structure are very excellent here with good structure which provide typical knowledge about every type of syllabus. So, students gets motivated and becomes ready for every type of challenges like uptu exams,and other copmetitive exams like GATE, IES etc. Labs are sometimes boring due to bad instruments.

Generally each faculty is either Phd or Mtech from iit or nit. So,they have special attention towards teaching they teach students in such a way that every and and each student could get the maximum knowledge. There weekly and surprize test makes every student always ready for tests in such a way every teacher teacher works hard to get the maximum output. As all the teachers are highly qualified, so they know how to teach a student with maximum effort.
