The college cutoff is also good and average. I have to appear for the SAEEE entrance test to be part of the college and have to appear for counselling/PI round on the college campus after clearing the SAEEE entrance test. Sathyabama University is deemed university accredited with Grade-A by NAAC and the college is rated as the four-star Institution for Excellence by QS Star Rating System.

The curriculum is as per the latest regulation and follows all the laws and industrial rules. the curriculum is designed to teach us about all the basic, advanced and modern techniques and all the fundamentals and the concepts are properly cleared. The faculty ratio for our department was around 1:8. The faculty is very good and they teach us in very friendly manners. Their teach quality is very good and they help us to learn every concept very easily. Most of the college faculty is of PhD level.

The internship is not mandatory it is optional but I would suggest everyone to opt for an internship because an internship helps us to learn new skills and add professional experiences to our resume before appearing for placement. The average stipend for an internship is around 45k.

The biggest plus point is that we can take part in the college placement drive from the third year of our program. The college has a very good placement record of 100% placement every year. The college placement offer is also very good in comparison to many other deemed universities in India. The highest placement offers reach up to 35 LPA and the average salary offer was around 14 LPA.

The college has scholarship schemes Dr.Jeppiaar Remibai merit scholarship through which the college only provides scholarships on a merit basis. The college fee is a bit on the higher side as the complete course fee is around 9.50 lakh but the college provides a very good placement offer the average salary offer ranges from 12-14 LPA so the ROI of the college is very good.

The college campus life is very good, seniors are quite friendly. The college infra is very well managed and maintained. The classrooms are properly ventilated and spacious. The auditorium is very big and almost all the functions of the college are held. The college library is newly renovated and we have all types of books related to our domain and subject. The college campus is very much clean.

The hostel has fully furnished rooms and AC and Non-AC rooms are also available in the hostel. One can select any room as per its budget. The mess food quality is good and mostly dominated by the South Indian menu but very tasty. The hostel has a WiFi facility all around the hostel campus. the hostel wardens are professionally trained and the staff properly manage the hostel discipline. The common room has LCD TV.
