All you want to know before you go to NIT Trichy

the eligibility is getting a good rank in JEE mains exam through JoSAA we can option for courses in any NIT so that's how I opted ICE in NIT Trichy if you are from SC/ST/OBC/EWS you can have reservation here and also 50% of state reservation is also apllicable the admisssion process is simple and management itself walks you through every step so no difficulties

I choose this course because it has exposure for both Circuital and Non-circuital branches and only few institutions across india offer this course faculty to student ratio is like you have a PhD schlar for every 10 students all of our faculty come from various parts of india and most of them have masters degrees in respective domains they deal with so their teaching methods will be so practical and you'll feel refreshed when you learn the course we have two cycle tests, one assignment and final semester. so you need to have a mandatory of 75% attendance. coming to the pass percentage, the professors expect you not to copy and try to put what you have learn and how it is answered according to the questions. so it is not that difficult to pass

the fees is comparibily flexible compared to 90% of Engineering colleges across India and there is only a little amount of hike every semester so you din't need to be worried the hostel and mess fees is also good. there are various scholarships that you can apply and get based o your merit in NIT Trichy. one of the named scholarship is jithraj scholarship which many students/friends of mine apply. If you are from economically weaker section you also have different type of scholarships which with proper appliance you can get. you can do internships under professors of respected domian where you can earn some pocket money while you study and also stipends

Campus life is soo good though I was only 9 months in campus i enjoyed it alot and also I'm going back in a few days very excited about that there are various cultural and tech fests in our campus. One among them is Pragyan, it is one of the biggest Technical fests in India and also ISO 20121:2012 certified fests for its Sustainable Event Management which only three organisations have across the world like Manchester United club, London Olympics its conducted in Mid March. Festember it is cultural fest of NITT which happens in third week of september. there is huge library which is accesible for everybody and you can enter with your ID card. Classrooms has inbuilt projectors on top which have access to smart lerning and coming to sports there are various events for different departments there are many clubs in NITT where most of them are run by studensts for various sectors like E-Cell for entreprerial students, SCIEnT for Vehicle Building and Students Council for various bodies
