Proud to be a Glaian

First of all, I had applied for admission to the B.tech Computer science branch. After submission I got permission to attend a Glaet entrance exam. I have attended the test and that was a good experience because in the test exam the difficulty level of questions was very good. Questions were divided into 3 sections. After a result, I got a call from University to take admitted in cs branch. The exam application form is available on Gla's official website it's a really simple process. I hadn't applied for Reservation but there is some scholarship available for that student whose Jee mains score or Overall percentage in 12th is greater than 80% in PCM subjects.

I have opted for this course because I was interested to explore the computer science and Programming world. The course curriculum is very good, there are a lot of subjects available which gives the deep knowledge of computer science and related technologies. The faculty and student ratio is good there is a separate teacher available for each subject. All faculty members are well qualified and the teaching methods are overall good. There are two exams every semester and each year there is two semester. 2 exam happens every semester first is midterm and the last one is end term. The difficulty of exams is good because every key term of subjects is discussed by the faculty.

There is so many companies are available which gives an internship opportunity in the 2nd year or 3rd year. You have to make a project in the second year and third year. The company comes and take an exam to know your coding skills and quant and reasoning skills. There are some interviews which are going on basis of your work experience.

First of all placement record of this university is very good I have seen that in the cs branch most of the seniors are placed in MNC and the best startups company. Companies come for 3rd year and 4th year students. Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, cognizant and so many companies come for recruitment.it also gives an internship in the 3rd year. the average placement record is 90%.

The fee structure of this university is divided into three terms first one is academic fees,2nd one is hostel fees and the last one is mess fees. There are so many facilities available to pay the university fees .you may take a government loan and there is also a government scholarship is available. If you are doing any internship then you also got some money that helps you to pay the dues. If you are suffering from some money problem then you may take permission from the Dean of the university to pay later like you got some days to pay the dues.

Campus Life is very charming there is a lot of clubs available which organise so many types of events like Brij letario, Milan, Ninad, Abacus, Ec cell etc . Ninad organises the music and dance events and also ec cell organise so many events. The Library system is very good there are lots of books available for study. You may simply go to the library and read the books or you may take a book for 15 days.

There is so many hostels for boys and girls each are separate. There is AC and Non AC hostels are available. Girls and boys have different hostels.in every hostel, lots of facilities are available like gym, Common room and indoor games room. Mess quality is very good . There is a unique dish for every day .you may take hostel in starting of the year.
