CMRIT Review

The eligibility criteria for this course is the completion of intermediate or 10 plus 2. One of the ways to get admission is TS EAMCET, you need to secure a decent rank in the exam, the cutoff for this is around 60000 for the general category. The admission process is conducted by TS EAMCET through counselling. You can get a scholarship of Rs.35000 for the general category if you satisfy all the criteria. The admission process is fair enough and easy, any kind of major improvements are not required for the admission process.

I wanted to pursue engineering in the ECE department hence I chose this course. The student to faculty ratio in this college is around 1:20, they have mentors to look after the students regarding all their curriculums. The faculties are well educated, most of them hold PhD and master's degrees, teaching methods are quite good. we have digital facilities to monitor the performance of the students and decent practical knowledge is provided. The frequency of term exams in a year is twice. these are semester examinations, the difficulty level of the exams is quite good you need to study hard to get good marks.

There are many companies that offer internships to the students of the third year and fourth year with stipends. The major companies providing internships are Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. There are many projects which you can do to increase your chance of internships. The outcomes of these projects will build up your resume which not only helps during the internships but also in the placements.

The students are eligible for the placements in the 6th semester. The highest package offered last year was 4 LPA by Amazon. The average package is around 4 LPA. Nearly 75 percent of the students got placed on the campus itself. I have planned for M TECH after this course.

The fee for an average student is about 90000, and this is almost the same for other branches too. There are scholarships provided by the government which provides a reimbursement of 35000. The scholarship is called TS E-PASS.

There is a cultural fest which is conducted once a year during the months of April or May. Apart from these there are many other fests like tech fests, hackathons and some sports events which are conducted often. The library in the college is good and has a wide variety of books. The classrooms are well maintained and ventilated. There are a lot of sports and games, both indoor and outdoor. We have a regular sports period in a week. There are many clubs related to music, dance, singing, tech etc ... NSS and NCC are the social groups in this college run by the students.
