Course Curriculum Overview

Conversations with Alumini and MBA students of other colleges helped me narrow down to a few colleges post which I was able to choose the best. Good qualified faculty including IIM graduates and former faculties at Harvard Business School who are knowledgeable and push you to apply whatever you learn in practical situations through case study analysis and discussions and assignments and live projects.

Internships Opportunities

Several top companies visit the campus to hire interns including Goldman Sachs Mogan Stanley, JP Morgan and more with Morgan Stanley offering the higest package of ?50,000 per month for the 2 month internship

Placement Experience

All students are expected to do an internship at the end of the first year based on which a subsequent project report is made. Extensive support is provided to secure both internships and jobs with placements being nearly 100% every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is on par with most colleges but is lower than IIM's. No additional charges (except hostel) but free access to large volume of journals, publications and databases that the college subscribes too. Multiple scholarships available on merit basis and also in the form of fee concessions for Students who need financial aid.

Campus Life

Clubs ranging from marketing to finance to HR to operations to entrepreneurship and sports league JPL which runs for 2-3 months and serveral inter and intra college fests, conclaves and even international conferences

Initial test wherein we were asked to write a short essay on a specified topic post which we had the personal interview where I was tested in terms of my practical knowledge, theoretical knowledge, current affairs and ethical values post which I was questioned about my goals and ambitions

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

Life at SJIM

SJIM accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT, with 60 percentile or above. The eligibility criteria is to have bachelors degree from recognized university with more than 60% marks in 10th,12th and UG. Applicants with more than two arrears are not considered. Following my MAT and CMAT exams, I applied for PGDM in St.Joseph's through the online application form that was available in official website (sjim.edu.in), the application fees is Rs.1000/-. After applying, I received mail confirmation on the same and the date of face-to-face interview was sent through mail. On the day of interview, there were two rounds. The first was a written test which was for 30mins to write two essays on topics given. The second round was a face to face interview.
