IIT Jodhpur Review

Coming from a technological and engineering background I was adamant to become an engineer and IIT Jodhpur was the best fit for me as my elder brother was also a pass out of college. My admission was through the JOSAA counselling I cleared my JEE and then participated in the JOSAA counselling and secured my seat.

The curriculum of the college is very designed. The curriculum is as per the latest industry regulations. The college has a very good coding culture and the curriculum cover all the aspects and terms of the CSE program. The faculty are masters in coding techniques. The faculty is the one that helps us to understand the difference between computer programming and computer algorithms. Most of the faculty members of the college are of PhD level and

The internship is designed in a very good manner and we have to complete a minimum of 7-8 weeks of the internship program. If we wanted to take part in the internship program we should have every good academic record. The internship is also paid and the average internship stipend is 55k.

The college placement is among the best in business. Every year the placement package offers increases. The college management and the placement committee does a very good job of improving the placement quality of the college. The college is also able to manage a record of 100% placement. The highest placement offer of the college is around 27 LPA and the average salary offer is approx 15 LPA.

The college provides scholarships on a merit basis through the Merit Cum Means scholarship program and pocket allowance is also provided. Scholarship for Sc/ST is also available through SC Scholarship for Top Class, ST Scholarship for Top Class. The state and central funded scholarship schemes are alcos available. The college campus life is very energetic. As being a B.Tech we have to complete lots of projects and assignments and most of the time we spend in the library to complete our projects. The college library is one of the best as what I feel because we can find all kinds of books and international research journals are also available. The college classrooms are very well designed and properly, maintained. The college campus is very clean and the building of the college is beautifully built.

The hostel is good. The rooms are properly designed and feel quite airy. The hostel bathrooms are quite clean and clean on every alternative day. The hostel wardens are professional and are quite helpful. The hostel food is good and cooked in a clean environment. The hostel security is also very good. The hostel provides facilities like 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel has all kinds of facilities as per our comforts.
