My Experience of B.Tech in Jamia Millia Islamia

For admission in B.Tech, students need to clear the JEE Mains examination and should have achieved atleast 55% in PCM in their +2 If the student wants to take admission to this college, then he needs to fill out the application form available in JMI official website i.e. jmicoe.in and there will be no application fee and the application date will be available after the JEE Mains examination. And if you are from any reservation class then you will surely get benefits in admission.

The course curriculum is pretty good. I chose B.Tech because there are many scopes after doing B.Tech from this institute. There are limited seats in B.Tech(i.e. 70 seats in each branch). There are only 5 branches in B.Tech, which means that the total number of seats in B.Tech is 350, and the faculty: student ratio is 1:14. And the faculty are highly educated, the teaching method in Jamia is quite impressive, students can directly interact with teachers. And to know your knowledge level, there are 2 periodic tests conducted by the teachers right before the semester exams. So the student can judge himself and know where they need to improve themselves.

You can apply for an internship right from your 3rd Year. You can apply for various job profiles in various companies for internships, and you can mention it in your CV to get placed in good companies. You can apply in companies that collaborated with IITs for the internship. There are many IT companies that provide internships for the student so that they can face problems in the real world. You can do internships in various projects like robotics, tech, IT, etc.

Student are eligible for campus placements rigth from 7th Semester. And he needs to work hard to get placed in good companies. There are many companies such as TCS, IBM, Microsoft. The highest salary package offered in 2021 was 36 lakh while the average salary package offered was 6 lakh. About 75% of student got placed from the university. My plans is to get a good job placed in good reputed company after getting the degree and work hard to achieve what I want.

The fee structure of the B.Tech Course is quite impressive and attractive. If you have financial issues, then also you can apply to this college. The student needs to pay around 15000/year. And I don't think that a student can get a great quality of education at such a price.

The student life in Jamia Campus is quite interesting. There are many student clubs run by students of Jamia and he can join any club which he wants. And the campus is extremely vast. Students can easily spend their days on campus. There are many libraries in Jamia and he can easily access the library. There are many books in the library and I don't think that he needs to buy any other external book to study. And the classroom is also good. It is well ventilated. And there are many sports activities in which students can involve. There is a big sports complex which includes a cricket stadium, football ground, tennis court, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis, and many more.
