Remarks

The admission process was very easy. I've scored about 96 % in class 10th and 79 % in class 12th. I didn't have any entrance exam for joining KCG College Of Technology. I have seen all the details regarding entrance on the website itself. The college also has admission coordinators to help us in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

The well-built infrastructure of the Department of Information Technology made my learning a wholesome one. The Faculty members and the staff are so friendly and well experienced in their concerned fields giving us the best education. The dept of IT paves and nurtures us in all possible ways to enrich ourselves technically

The fees structure was less and affordable and the infrastructure and ambience were very good. The hostel fees are also an affordable rate and the hostel was very neat and clean and the food provided there is too good. Yes the cost of the study is nominal and worth it as it is much less when compared to many Chennai colleges. lots of scholarships for sports students and academically successful students are provided

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
