IIIT Ranchi Review

Hi, my name is Ankur and I have completed my B.Tech CSE program from IIIT Ranchi. The vibes of IIITs are a little different in comparison to other colleges, the crowd is low but it is not only quite diverse but are quite experienced and mature and goal-oriented. The college IIIT Ranchi college is new but the education standards what I feel is at par or I can say that far better than any top college of India. I felt that IIITs are one of the best to complete the CSE program. The admission is through JOSAA counselling one have to clear JEE exam and have to appear for JOSAA counselling to secure a seat in the college.

The curriculum of the college is of the highest standards and follows all the latest developments. The curriculum standards are far ahead of many IITs and NITs I can say that if the college maintains this kind of standard it can become one of the top-ranking institutes of India. The faculty of the college is superb. The faculty is highly experienced and they are very knowledgeable. The faculty are mainly of PhD standards and they have completed their research work from the top universities of India. The faculty teaching methods are one of the best and we are able to understand every concept properly.

The college was new but the internship program of the college are designed in a way that it seems that the college has very good experience in providing very good internship opportunities and most of the internship is paid. The average stipend for the internship is around 40k.

The college placement is very good. To achieve a good placement offers for such a new college is very tough but the college has not only to maintain a record of 1200% placement but the placement offers of the college are also very good the highest placement offer went up to around 21 LPA and the average salary offer was around 12 LPA which is very good placement packages for the college. AmEx, Tekion, Commvault, Jio, Goldman Sachs are among the recruiters of the college.

The campus life of the college is very good. The crowd of the college is low. The seniors are highly cooperative. The classrooms are well designed and the classrooms are smart classes. The college labs are high-end and well maintain. The college library is well designed these seating arrangements are very good. The library is the source of knowledge of the college as we are able to find all types of books from around the world. The college campus has a WiFi facility too.

The hostel is good. The rooms are designed like 2 to 3bhk flat are available a four-seater accommodation. The hostel mess food quality is average. The hostel has 24 hours of power and water supply. The hostel staff is very good. The hostel cleanliness is properly maintained. The common room has an LCD TV facility. The only drawback is that the hostel does not provide internet connectivity. The hostel security is also very strict.
