Remarks
The admission in the college for engineering is not based on JEE Main/JEE advanced score but the University (ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY) conducts its own Entrance Exam namely AMUEEE (Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam). The level of the exam is equivalent to or slightly above the JEE main exams but with huge no of questions asked i.e. 150. You can find application forms on the university's official exam controlling the website. Admission is college is a little tough because of the huge no of applicants.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had a huge interest in the engineering field that's why I chose this engineering field in this college. the college is Co-ed and the student-faculty ratio is also decent. All the faculty members are professors with tons of teaching and research experience. Exams are Semester wise only. First Sem exams were quite easy.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is one of the most affordable Engineering colleges in the whole country despite being in the TOP 30 Ranking in NIRF ranking 2021. the fees of the college per year lie around just INR 16500-17000 which is quite affordable in itself. Poor Students which can't afford the college fees are given lots of scholarship opportunities by the University as well as some NGOs which work around the area.
Campus Life
The college conducts Semester End Fest namely TECH MELA in which all the departmental students around the college take part. The University of Aligarh(AMU) itself has Asia's Biggest Library (MAULANA AZAD LIBRARY), so we are given good facilities in this field by the university. Sports is the field where the college has to improve a little bit the involvement of students. Most of the students focus only on studies and miss their co-curriculum development. We also have various Clubs and Societies.
