Remarks
There are 2ways to get eligible for B.E Electronics and Communication from Government Engineering College Rajkot. The first way is the traditional way completed 12th with PCM and then go for ACPC Counseling and get admission and the second way is to do a diploma first and then go for ACPDC Counseling and get admission. I had chosen the Diploma to Degree entry and hot admission directly into the 3rd Semester or 2nd year. Reservation benefits are available but I didn't get any.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose these courses as I wanted to get Batchelor's Degree from the same trade in which I'm having a diploma Degree. Faculty to students ratio is around 2to 3 teachers in the entire class per subject which is a great ratio. Faculties are PhD holders. We have to give 2exam per semester one is internal which is mid sem and another one in the End semester which is the University exam.
Placement Experience
Final Year students get eligible for the placement. Companies like GTPL, TCS, Reliance, etc visit colleges every year. Almost all students get placement who clear all exams properly with a proper score of above 7. My plan is to get M.tech after this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The best of the Gujrat education ministry is in government college we have to pay negligible fees which are 1500 per year and also 0 rs for girls. If we talk about students from different categories can get scholarships according to their categories which is more than what they pay as fees. Digital Gujrat and MYSY are Scholarships provided by Gujrat government.
Campus Life
The campus life is average we have one small canteen on campus. We have recently ended up with sports week where all types of games students can participate in. The college has great libraries with a huge collection of books and great and comfortable sheeting arrangements. College organizers Brezinger tech fest every year. College have NCC, NSS government social groups and Coders for electronics and code chef are other clubs.
