College campus is really good with all facilities like lab, books and infrastructure some portion of college is getting old need renovation college faculties were good and knowledgeable one bad thing is students used to take mid term vacations in between semesters lot of cultural activities were organized within groups of students which was really good.
Entrance Preview
Admission done based on merit of 12th standard CBSE examination.There was no entrance exam conducted for admission CBSE merit included PCMB (Physics Chem Maths Bio) scores out of total 310 my score was 238/310 based on that Mechanical Eng admission was given to me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum has common subjects for 1st year later on specialized subjects related to mechanical eng is being introduced overall course contains both theoretical and practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
No internship offered by college and college has no tie-up with industries fo the same college conducted industrial tours in power plant in ahmedabad and several engineering companies in anand and VV Nagar students can do internship by their own if they can find.
Placement Experience
Placements were not good only two companies came for campus placement even for other branches, there were hardly any company came for campus interview college needs to improve on this.
College Events
At least 4-5 events has been celebrated in the college it includes cultural activities different competitions and other events it was lot of fun along with learning.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is government college fee structure was reasonable total fee is 1500 Rs per semester now a days it must be higher as this fee structure is of year 1995-99.
Fees and Financial Aid
No loan availed as it is government college fee structure was reasonable hence no need to take loan however I did not hear any loan facility provided by college.
Campus Life
Campus life was awesome we had sports competitions like badminton, cricket, TT etc. Labs are bigger and having all facilities campus has everything like library, labs, playground, hostel etc.
Alumni/Alumna
No steps has been taken to connect to alumni college should provide platform for alumni connect college can arrange some program should have some website to connect to Alumni however, we have seen students visiting college even after pass-out.
Exam Structure
Exam includes written, practical and viva written exam has been conducted by saurashtra university for viva, one external professor has been arranged all practical marks has been given based on assignments given on weekly basis in labs.
