Remarks

I got into this college based on EAMCET. In counseling, I applied for civil engineering in different top colleges. Finally in third counselling I got admission in vasavi college of engineering. My EAMCET rank was 9775. Application form will be available in the website for eamcet.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I was interested in construction management. There was 1 faculty for every 60 students. They were always available for the students to help us regarding the subject. Qualification of faculty is very high as it is one of the reputed college in our state. Exams were conducted once every 6 months and It isn't easy to pass but by studying everything we can pass the exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that offered internships to our college students with a good stipend like cognizant, Deloitte, L and T etc. Projects were mostly done in external companies where the outcomes were good for the respective courses.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in our college. 60% of the students can be placed with the least package of 4 lpa. From 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Highest package offered in our college was 24 lakhs from google and average package is 6 lakhs per annum. I want to do M. Tech after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of college per year is nearly 1,00,000. Also there are different opportunities for scholarships. The one who gets scholarship has to pay 60% fee. Financial assistance is also provided by the college to the students. I got a job in cognizant ( 4 lpa) in college placements.

Campus Life

Our annual fest name is Euphoria and the tech fest is called Alumina. They are conduct in between February and march. There are all kinds of books in library. All kinds of sports are played in college ground like basket ball, cricket, football, volleyball etc. There is a club named streetvasavi run by students to teach the children in villages nearby.

The exams can be done for once in two months and that are considered as mid examinations before that there is a lab internal after 2 months again these will happen after that lab externals and semester will be done total semester will be done by 6months including preparation holiday and regular holidays

I selected civil engineering course as of my intrest because civil was my interest since the beginning It's just developed like that .I feel like my civil related subject faculty are good.i hope my 4years jounery in snits goes well.As of now civil engineering is treated good in my college.

College for people with more money

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college,we get placement training from our 5th semester and in 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements, the highest package they mentioned was 60lpa. Over the placements are good and you need to get 65% in your exams for the eligibility of campus placements

Comming to course if you study for atleast imp u will survive no matter how hard the paper is and curriculum is easy to get on there is no issue in syllabus and other study related but he have to put minimum efforts to suvive through backlogs

The College placements will be available eligible for the students of 4th-year 1st semester there is a number of companies visited almost 100 companies like TCS Infosys for exam and there is a highest package of 40 lacks per annum and average package 6 lakhs per annum and there is a placement of about 98 percentage and my plan is after getting the degree is to get a job in a multinational company

Placement Experience:

From 3-2 semester students are eligible for campus placements companies like WIPRO, TCS, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS visit campus for recruitment and offer avg package of 3.5 LPA to 6 LPA. The placement percentage was about 70% in the previous year.

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
