Remarks
The admission process was done by filling out reap form. No, I didn't take any entrance exams. I just filled this reap form. The eligibility of the course was of 10 and 10+2 percentage and the minimum percentage was 60%. The application form is easily available on rtu official website. The reservation is for EWS candidates and Jammu and Kashmir students. No, I don't want to see any improvement in the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is perfect and faculty members are also good and kind and supportive. My course name is AI and DS. I chose this course because I'm so much interested in machine learning and data science and nowadays artificial intelligence is gaining so much fame. Some faculties have done PhD and some of them have done MBA. The exams were scheduled very perfectly and it was not at all hard to pass the exams.
Placement Experience
The placements of this college are good enough. The highest placement this year was 22 lakhs. From the 7th semester, only the pre placements are offered to students. The name of the companies is IBM, TCS and etc. The minimum percentage of students must be above 7 CGPA. My plan after getting the degree is to go for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very good and affordable for any parent, especially in BTech. The scholarships are given to those students who have secured high marks in board exams. Recently I'm in my first year so I haven't gotten any job.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is extraordinarily amazing. Social life is growing day by day. In this college, there are 10-11 clubs and infrastructure is also good for this college. The fest name of this college is aarohan which was held in February for 3 days. The books are available in the library and journals. Sports and extracurricular activities on the campus were held in February only in the fest. The cultural club is run by students only and there are so many clubs here in the Poornima college.
