Remarks
For every aspirant, it will be a dream come a true moment for getting the chance in IITs, and for me nothing is different. So there is no question of the choosing exist here. The admission process has no difference from other IITs. The main requirement to get admission was a good ranking in the national level exam IIT-JEE. I had to qualify for both the JEE advance and JEE main exam. Through the JOSAA counseling, I got the chance to get admission after seven rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a tech-savvy, it seemed to be the best course which I should pursue and this was the main reason for choosing the course. I had to study both core and elective papers. This is a credit-based course. The syllabus was much more relevant for the present tech scenario and we got training from the practical side as well as from the theoretical side also. Both the visiting faculty as well as the permanent faculty were helpful to us. We also got guidance from the industry professionals also. The opportunity to do an internship with any company or university was available to us.
Placement Experience
Total offers were made was around 100 by the prominent recruiters. Now coming to the full-time opportunity there were several offers made from some renowned brands like Accenture, Accenture Japan, Aakash Education, Capgemini, Deloitte, Mercedes-Benz, eClerx, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, TCS R&D, WCB Robotics, PayPal, etc. The highest salary package offered was Rs. Rs. 60 LPA and the average salary of Rs. 15.41 LPA was offered in our final placement program. I did the semester internship with Denso for the duration of six months. However, I did not participate in the final placement as I was pursuing my master's and then pursuing research.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total semester fee I paid was Rs. 141400. Our tuition fee was Rs. 100000 and along with this, other fees like registration fees .training fees had to pay separately. For hostel and mess expenses I paid around Rs.23900. I did not apply for any scholarship scheme so I am not the right person to answer the questions related to it.
Campus Life
My favorite zone on the campus was our library. We got the facility of several well-equipped labs. The ‘Shiru’ cafe was quite famous among us, that was also a memorable part of our campus. EBSB clubs were also there. ‘Sunshine’ was a program which took place every week where we used to do catch up with our mates of departmental groups.
