College was very well managed. The authorities and management was very helpful and cooperative with all the students. Awesome campus with all modern features and equipment and highly educated professers who groomed us in a manner to get 100% placement.
Entrance Preview
Common entrance test and scored 85% and opted this college as this is one of the best non engineering college with a huge campus in town.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculam is very effective with 34 subjects which taught us each and every computer laungauges, management subjects as well as basic accounts.
Internships Opportunities
We have done the intenship from ardent limited to prepare a banking project. The project includes complete banking software to maintain and keeping records of customers and daily transactions and also a complete trial version of the software was provided. Stripend offered was 7500.
Placement Experience
100% placement was given in the year 2010. All the students were allowed to sit for the on campus interview on three companies. All the A grade IT companies were invited and average package offered to the fresher is between 2.75 lac and 3.25 lac.
College Events
College event and cultural programs were highly arranged in both the kolkata and durgapur campus every year in bollywood style. Celebrities like sonu nigam, shaan, shreya goshal and also all time favorite football star Pele was invited. Technical fest was also held between different colleges and students have participated to compete with other colleges in different field.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was bit expensive compared to other colleges. But it can be given 1 time, 2 installment and 6 installment which makes feasible to pay for all sort of candidates. Also the college ia tied up with UBI, Axis and syndicate bank to get approved loan.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of this feature. But education loan is easily sanctioned by the banks which was tied up with the college by only showing the offer letter provided by the bank.
Campus Life
Hostel parties and cultural events is held every year and mandatory to participate for all candidates to keep them highly energetic. There is no discrimination on sex, race, religion and economic status on students. All are treated in a same manner. This is the best part of the campus life.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms and food quality is one of the best i have ever seen comparing to other colleges. Hostel fees was very less and it provides all sort of comfortable and important ammenities which required in daily life.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors were extremely well behaved and helped the juniors with books, notes, course materials etc. Seniors treats all the new joinee with open arms and ragging was strictly prohibited.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was like two semester in a year of 6 subjects each followed by a mid semester which conducts internally. Normally a day gap is given between all exams to prepare well and feels like non hectic.
Faculty
Faculties are highly experienced and enough qualified to teach us not only the subject details as well as basic knowledge of life which helped to start a booming growth in IT industry.
