Remarks
Jamia takes entrance test for all its UG programs along with a minimum 60%marks in your 12th board exams. You may find the application form on Jamia's official website(jmicoe.in). About 50% is reserved for Muslim candidates in various categories such as OBC, Muslim Women, Kashmiri Migrants, SC/ST, Muslim Men etc. Only con with the admission process is that it is delayed most of the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty to student ratio- 1:8 Some of the faculty is research scholars and rest of them are assistant professor. Term exams are conducted every semester along with 2 internal assessments of 25 marks each.
Internships Opportunities
I worked as a digital marketing intern with LEARNINGSHALA for 3 months and the internship was provided by the departments's placement cell. My experience was very good and got to learn many practical applications of the different techniques used in the creation of a brands digital image
Placement Experience
As this is my final year, I have not sat for the placement yet neither planning to do so. For my course, generally startup companies visit for placements offering very basic package. The BBA degree is only worth if it is accompanied by an MBA, PGDM or any other such masters degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
There hasn't been any major fee hike during my time at the university. I applied and got benefited from MOMA scholarship in my first year and third year. Students can also apply for scholarship provided by the Jamia Teachers Association.
Campus Life
One inter university annual fest named MIRAAS is held once a year along with many departmental fests conducted several times throughout the year. Almost all the books and journal are available in the Dr. Zakir Hussain library specially if you are preparing for government exams. PG classrooms are equipped with amenities such as ACs etc. Sports and extra curricular is very much encouraged. Differnt clubs are run by students such as Dance, Drama, Debate, Music etc.
