50% marks are important in 12th in any board in any stream. However, you will need a migration certificate if you are from any other board except PSEB. Admission process is easy . You can contact the college through e-mail or phone. A phone call is a better option. Ask them about the application dates. The best option is to visit the college directly to fill the application form from office. You will need DMCs of 10th and 12th class. Your aadhar card copy. 1 recent passport sized photo. The college will provide you with a prospectus. Admission form is for 200 Rs. You'll simply need about 600 Rs. during the admission process. There is no any hastle to submit it quickly. After filling the form submit it in office. And you got admission in college.

It's the technological era. That's why I chose this course. It promises jobs and placements in IT sectors. And I loved programming. Faculty is highly educated. They are very focused on teaching us the current technology. They teach the students via computer labs, notes, Presentations, Quizzes, Assignments and most importantly practical for hands on experience of programming. Teachers are very cooperative and friendly. There will be 1-2 house tests before semester exam to review what the students have learned. It all depends on the students if he/she if fully focused on the course. Constant practice and logic is required for this degree. If student has been listening and is focused on the lesson he will surely pass the exam.

Placement companies like Dell, HP, Intel often visit the college. Junior assistant manager, Software Developer, Website designer are often selected. Students doing the internship programmes are lucky as they will have experience.

Placement companies often visit our college twice thrice a year. 2nd year students are eligible for interviews and internships. It depends on the students how much qualified and experienced they are in programming, communication skills and personality. The highest package is of 5 Lacs PA and average is 3 Lacs PA. 40% of students get placements.

Fees here is affordable. Students can pay in installments. For the 3 year degree almost 80000 Rs. are required. There's scholarships for toppers, single parent child, SC/ST quota. At the end of 3rd year there's placement companies like TIME, Acer, Dell, HP hiring students for internship programmes.

Campus Life is average. There's less sports or games. However festivals are celebrated here like Diwali and lohri. On lohri ( in January), as per Punjabi tradition, girls are dressed in Punjabi suits and enjoy with her friends. There will be giddha and other dance performances on this day. On diwali, DJ party is held along with food stalls, dance performances and rangoli competitions. The college holds a Joyous mood on special occasions. All Gurupurabs are celebrated religiously followed by Shabad kirtan and Gurbani recital. There will be quiz competitions, declamations, Surveys, Awareness rallies and campaigns, Street shows, Skits and much more. College Library is there. Students can issue textbooks and it has a wide variety of national and international authors. Classrooms are big and airy with good lighting and air with smart boards and CCTVs.
