True insights of the college

The admission process was quite smooth. The eligibility of course was the 12th pass with a minimum 50% in physics, chemistry, and maths. The admission fee was 1000rs. I was able to deposit fees online directly by UPI. One improvement I would like to see in the admission process is there should be GD.

The course curriculum is not that good as the college is affiliated to RTU Kota where the syllabus is not updated for the last 20 years. I choose cse because I have an interest in computer science and related subjects but here they are teaching everything except Computers. Mid-term exams are there every two months so there is very high pressure near the exams.

There are many internship opportunities for Computer science students here. Also, most of the internships are paid remote internships. In 3rd year it is necessary to do an internship to complete your degree. Almost all students who have the required Tech Skills get internships in Cs branch. Some projects my seniors made for the internship are 1. Bank management software using C++ 2. Pose detection using deep learning. 3. Real-time face recognition software. 4. Heart disease prediction using ML and Python.

Placements of college are normal to average. The average package for CSE ranges from 4-6 lakh per annum. Around 90% of students get placed in cse branch. Placements for ECE are also not that bad. But for other branches it is really bad. Companies visiting the campus every year are like Infosys and Tech Mahindra. My plans after getting the degree is to become a Software engineer in top MNCs of the world which is not possible here so I would try to get an offcampus placement. But other than that placements are good. Wipro offered 4.5 lakh package to 2 students this year for junior developer profile .

Fee Structure is as follows College fee - 80000rs Hostel fee -85000(for 2 seater rooms) and 75000(for 3 seater rooms). College also spreads awareness regarding education loans so that students could afford to pay the fee of the college. There is no fee hike till now, the fee is also not too high so that every student could afford to study.

Life at the campus is really enjoyable. These days are one of the best days especially when there are so many things to do on the campus. Every 10 - 15 days there is an activity organized. There are mainly two clubs in the college which remains active throughout the year like IOT Club and Music club. Other than that , there is also a dance club which becomes active during the times of fests. There is an annual sports event called SPARKS organized by electrical department.

Hostel facilities are average here. The rooms are very small, especially the three-seater rooms. In winter there is a problem of getting hot water as the geysers sometimes do not work. Also in summer, there is a water scarcity problem, water does not come for like 9 Am - 3 pm in most rooms on the ground floor. Mess food is really bad, every day there is only one vegetable - "potato". Food quality is really bad. The dishes are also not properly cleaned. Hygiene is not maintained. Other than that everything is average. Also, there is no Wi-Fi facility available in the hostel even if the college claims to be a full wifi campus.
