I have given the entrance examination and through the marks secured in UPSEE, got admission. The college offers admission through JEE as well. Firstly, the institute released the rank list and the admission will be based on the same. The basic eligibility criteria required for admission is 10+2 with PCM background. Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination. Details Regarding admission through UPSEE and all the necessary details are available on AKTU's official Website. The Eligible candidates can get admission to MGMCOET by directly visiting the college only if the seats are left after counselling. The total intake of the college is about 210 students in the first year. Concession in fees is provided for SC, ST students and the college offers the facility of scholarship for this, the students need to submit the Income Certificate.

The college offers 4 UG Courses i.e, CSE, ME CE, ECE from which I choose CSE as I wanted to make my career in the field of Software Engineering. The Professors are highly qualified. Most of the professors have completed their P.hd. The professors completed their education from very esteemed colleges such as DU, NIT, IIT, etc. The teaching method is also good. They help in preparing notes, as well as clear students' doubts. The professors are polite and are always ready to support their students. The ratio between the faculty and student is 3:25. There are a total of 3 session tests that take place in the college every month, from which the best of 2 marks is calculated and is considered as internal marks. These sessionals are done before the end semester exam.

The college does not promise the placement but the alumni of MGM COET are now in various good organizations, which include HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Bristlecone, Byjus, MobCoder, etc. Students from the 7th semester can apply for on-campus and off-campus placement available. For the campus placement minimum of 75% is mandatory. The average package is 3lpa.

The fee structure is quite affordable in comparison to other engineering institutes. The college expects fees in two instalments in a year. The first instalment is INR 33,000 and another instalment is INR 32,500. The college does not promise placement but the university does have placement cells.

The institute has all the infrastructure facilities including computer labs, a huge ground, library and seminar hall. The area is quite huge. Other curriculum activities include sports day, annual day, freshers and farewell. MGM Coet has 6 student clubs for each branch.
