College life

To get into cse in Gitam institute there will be an entrance test for 360 marks and also there will be a negative marking too,depending on their exam score the fee will be decided. There is no such kind of reservation in our college based on your entrance test marks your seat will alloted. Minimum 65% marks should be scored to qualify the test. Till now there is no change in admission process.

I chose this course because I was always curious to learn computer science,programming languages and wanna build my own start up. Faculty are different for different subjects and there are 180 students where each section is categorised into 60 ratio. In our college each and every faculty has done Phd and their research areas are Data Mining,Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and book were also published by them not only but also provides research guidance to the students ,tranings and workshops and also provides papers in seminars and conference. Each and every faculty try to teach their students at their level best to make understand the subject not only theoretically but also practically. There will total 8 semisters including lab internal and external as well and for every 6 months there will be end semister examinations ,not only that to test the students knowledege in between there will be mid term exams.Difficulty of exams are tough and students need to prepare well.

The fee sturcture is almost 273000 per year there is tution fee which is of 2,73,000/- and there is special fee which is of 30000/- and cost of study is almost 1,50,000 for four years and there will be fee for every semister exam of 1500/- Fee reimbursement is availed depend on your rank your tution fee and special fee is alloted. There is an educational loans specially for students to assist financial assistance. I got job in cognizant with stipend of 7 lakh per annum and not only but everyone are getting placed in different companies.

There will be technical and nontechnical events conducted every month and where in technical events there will be a coding competitions like blind code ,hackathon competitions in which they will award cash price for first three winners and for participants they will be providing participation certification too. Our college has the biggest library where it has all kinds of different author books are included in different dfferent research areas. There are well maintained toilets,ventilation and air quality, and size and space is free and vast. There will be sports competition among different different branches and there will be rewards for winners and cash prices too.Sports like throwball,badminton,kabaddi etc Gitam.edu is our website and there is gusac and RACG is one of the 40 clubs which consistes of six revenue districts .
