International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) Goa is situated in the Nuvem district of Goa. International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) Goa has received many awards and the college is popular for its training method. The advantage of the college is that there is a commercial resort attached to the institute which is a very good placement for practice and practical knowledge. First, I have to clear the E-CHAT test and after clearing the test I have to appear for GD and PI rounds. After qualifying all the rounds I was selected for admission.

The curriculum of the college is very good and follows all the latest guidelines of the industry. The curriculum properly focuses on practical knowledge and help us in improving our communication skills and personality as per the hospitality industry. The college faculty is also highly qualified and very well trained. The faculty has very good experience and their knowledge is quite impressive and the faculty keeps on attending training to keep themself up to date.

The internship program of the college is very well designed we are also offered international internship opportunities. If we are still not able to receive any internship the college is attached with the commercial resort and we can practice in it as an intern. The learning experiences during the internship is really very valuable.

The placement of the college is very good there is nothing to doubt about the college placement. The college is part of IIHM and is part of the college chain. The college has record of 85-90% placement and international placement offers are also available. Taj Group, ITC Hotels, Grand Hotel, Texas, Le Meridien, Intercontinental, Oberoi, Radisson, Ramada are some of the hotel names that have taken part in the college placement drive. The highest placement offer was around 7 LPA and the average salary package was around 3.25 LPA.

The college scholarship is decided as per the score on the 12th board. The scholarships are on a merit basis and the college provides a certain amount of rebate in the college fee but to be eligible for a scholarship one have to gain a minimum of 80% placement.

The campus is full of various events, the college is fully focused on students and helps us to improve our overall personality. The college organises various sports activities like a thug of war between the freshers and the seniors, and debate competition is also organised between seniors and fresher. Chef Ranveer Brar is the brand ambassador of the IIHM colleges as he also makes his presence in the college and teaches us some valuable things that we cannot learn in the college. The college has a very good lab designed kitchen for training and very good housekeeping labs and plus the commercial resort that is attached with the college is a very good experience for us. The college library is very good we are able to find a variety of books from the college library. The classrooms are spacious and properly ventilated.
