Anusha's Review On Annamacharya PG College Of Computer Studies, Kadapa

I have taken ICET entrance test and got 2632 rank and choose Annamacharya PG college of computer studies. The reason I choose this college was because of good name and fame of the college and after seeing infrastructure and facilities and went for this college.

I did Master of Computer Applications in this college and the course curriculum is good. Lab facilities and practicals are good. Teaching skills are nice, Library is having huge collection of books. You can spend hours together in library there is no limitation. Over all Course curriculum is good.

No . College did not provide any internship when I studied. I do not think they are providing any internship now also.

Placements and job opportunities are very rare during my course period.I saw only one consultancy came for placements during 2008 and 2011.But, I do not remember exact name of the consultancy and they did not select any one.I do not think they are providing such great placements and opportunities now also. But, hope they are doing better now a days.

Freshers day, Farewell day, Annual days,National meets all celebrations were there and they were maintaining all in very good manner.National meets were conducted every year and they were really helpful. Students were coming around state and participating in various events like quizzes, paper presentations etc.

Fee structure for MCA course was feasible as I went thru counseling. Management seats are bit expensive around 1 lakh that time. Apart from the course fee, admission fee you have to pay building fee around 5k to 10K that time. It may be rised now to 10k to 15K.And there are different fee structure for MCA,MBA and B Tech.

I remember we were getting EBC(economicall Backward caste) scholar ships. Other than this, If there are any chances of getting of any loan or scholarship facility I am sure office staff/management can help you a lot in getting them.

Gender Ratio: It was almost equal 50: 50. Extra curricular activities were encouraged and chess, painting and all other sports were there.quiz,national paper presentations and much more were there on every celebrations.No ragging at all and any kind of violence could not be tolerated . No gender,race,religion.sexual,political violence was not there.There is strict management and did not hear any kind of ragging incidents even.

We were having two mid exams for both theory and labs.And one final exam for both. In between we were having simple tests conducted by faculty for their subject only in our class rooms. Over all exam structure was good. It was not hectic. And exams were conducted in very strict manner. No copying and no cheating.
