Annamalai university faculty of engineering and technology

There is no specific entrance exam for engineering at Annamalai university. The entrance is only through counselling. There is no other admission forms application fees or anything. As per the Tamilnadu government, there are no fees (both college and hostel)for 7.5 reservation students and Sc category students have major fees consumption. the admission process is very simple when you got selected in tnea you have to submit your certificates in college when they are called.

First I choose this course data science because I know the future world belongs to software, And this is fast Booming sector. let me tell you about our faculties, here Annamalai university is a government university so faculty members are highly paid and all are P.H.D staffs. and they are well experienced .And here are enough staffs to all subjects,there are separate staffs for management ,labs,theory classes,etc.Staffs teaching are OK they are teach full in english they mostly explain in tamil also.and they are not too strict.there are two semesters per year ,they are more time to ready for exams ,And staffs give as notes important quetions etc.. It is easy to pass the exams

In our college placement is available for students, people who are studying 7th and 8th semester there are many companies visit for placements. the minimum package is 3 lacks per annum, and the highest package is 8 lacks per annum .students having a percentage above 80% till 6th semester is eligible for placements.

Annamalai University is a state government university so fess is less compared to private colleges. for general category students, the college fees are 50000rs per year. And for Sc students college fees is 10000 per year .and you are govt school student there are no fees for you .fees payment is only in online mode .so no other fees are collected. For the hostel,50000 for the general category, 25000 for SC students, and no fees for govt school students. there offer many scholarships for students, SC students can apply for the aadhidravidar post metric scholarship. if you are a first graduate you can apply for a first graduate scholarship. Annamalai University is worth this money.

Annamalai university college campus is a green and clean campus, college is always clean and neat. There is some festivals are conducted by departments members and college faculties. and there is a large university library and a separate librate library for engineering and technology and a separate library for Computer science departments. Classrooms are enough large with light and fan facilities. And university offers sports and extracurricular activities if you are interested you can join in them, they can also even teach us. here other organisations like NCC, NSS, Junior red cross are also available we can join these two.

Annamalai university has many hostels for separate departments.For engineering there is seperate hostels for boys and girls. for boys sperate hostel for 1st year 2nd year 3rd year and 4th year .you can apply for hoste when the college admission you tick for hostel you are selected for hostel
