Animesh Aashu's Review On C. M Science College, Darbhanga

I had admission in this college after my senior secondary (10 2) examinations. I qualified that with 81% Marks. I had opted for this particular college as in fact this is the most premier educational institute in my hometown. And as I am preparing further for medical exams, so thought it would be great not to indulge time in just one point that's why decided to took a Bachelor in Science degree.

The college runs several courses like Intermediate of Science, Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and some other vocational courses. The college is rich in staff, infrastructure and library. Admissions in any of the courses are made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Every year hundreds of students seeking to make their career in science apply for admissions here.

Darbhanga is a small town, so there's nothing like stipend for internships here like DU. There's some Engineering Colleges which offer campus placement and internships. But I couldn't see something like that here in this Science college.

There's no special campus placements held here like Engineering colleges. Sometimes a few companies do come and roll their dice but that's commonly unusual. But this institute provide an awesome faculty and a study base which strengthen the root of students studying here and which in turn result in greater future job placements and opportunities.

There are various fests held here like 'Krishi Mela' (Farmer's Fest), in which they do organize a lot of farm exhibitions and innovation and interesting competitions. Science Exhibitions, in which student try to project lots of innovative and creative ideas and so as they are rewarded for their labour. Fresher and Farewell parties have some another kind of joyous environment rather than nerdy as I like being party boy. Its awesome to have parties like that in here. We do also celebrate and organize various events in here time to time like quizzes and other sporting activities.

There are scholarship facilities for meritorious financially backward students which is for sure a good advantage for students having financial issues. But I didn't availed any of them yet.

Campus life here is good but not as I had dreamt of to be like big cities. Yeah there are several sports, competitions, debates organized here which I'm a regular participant. Science labs here in my college are best in here at our university, they have got all necessary stuffs and staffs that would not let you feel deprived of scientific resources. Everyone here got their friendly gangs.

I have had great time with my seniors too. There were earlier times when we had some issues which would happen anywhere in any college but that couldn't be labelled as ragging or harassment. Our seniors are supportive. They always have hands for help, I too have lend their hands in my projects and studying activities. They throw parties too and we're also invited in there maybe that could be a selective opinion.

Exam structure is like any other science college in here. Nothing more easy nor too harsh. They are not very frequent that would make my day tired.
