Entrance Preview

I have attended IIT JEE and i haven't got enough mark to apply for engineering. But i was interested in computer feild, so i choose BCA.

Course Curriculum Overview

The current curriculum of BCA course is better than before but it is still not in tandem with the current scenario. IT sector is one field which is changing at rapid speed because of which post hiring we have to necessarily train the graduates for the on-job skills. Over the years we have seen that at least 30%- 40% of the graduates are such that they lack basic intelligence and are hence unemployable.

Internships Opportunities

Actually i'm in the 2nd year of my course. Internship usually starts with 3rd year only. So we have'nt had a internship till now.

Placement Experience

Actually we are having a fwst next week so there is a placement conducting. Its the first placement test were we are going first.

College Events

We were having onam celebration. It was so colourful. Then comes the college fest in which students from various colleges participated.Next was the Christmas celebration which was a blast and fun celebration ever.

Exam Structure

We have used to have bi weekly exams. Al subjects will have those exams. And tere are two internal exams conducted before the university exam arrives.

Faculty

College faculties are good. College is located at an awsome infrastructure which is surrounded with greeny feilds.Which allows a good atmosphere for studies. College provide library, computer labs, smart classes etc.

My internship information and project details

Placement Experience:

My college provides placement for students having good cgpa and a student can apply once they reach 6th sem as i plan on doing B-tech further on my course i really haven't thought about taking placement so i don't have much knowledge about placements provided by my college. As many students aim for further studies and only half of them apply for placement the placement rate is good at our college providing nice packages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I thought this course will be useful for the future. So i choose this course. Subjects teaching can be made more relatable to the course and future. Maybe they can add day gaps between exams. The exams are conducted in consecutive days, each day two exams.

The experiences at my College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The unique aspect I found at Chinmaya Viswavidyapeeth is that they involve courses that shape an individual to his/ her best version. They teach us the aspects of life and how to enter and solve an issue with confidence. There are improvements needed in few areas but the overall performance is great and we know that the management is trying hard. The time between exams are a bit short but the frequency is not much, their difficulty level is based on the course's difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the new world of technology it is more good to study something related to the future. In short i felt bca has more scope in future . Teaching are not relevant for the future world. They should upgrade their teaching methods and the syllabus is not upto date . We are still studying about the old generation techniques. Frequency and timing of exam along with your perspective is okay .
