BCP- a place for the engineers

Students who have a minimum of 40% marks in class 10th or 12th from any recognized board and/or have a valid jexpo rank card can apply for this course. The application forms can be downloaded from our college's online website or can get from our college campus in Durgapur. There is reservation benefits as well as economical support via various schemes for financially unstable family students. There is no improvement needed in the admission procedure, everything is nicely decorated.

This course provides the hand to hand working knowledge of electrical machinery who will help up in getting jobs. We have 11 Electrical Engineering faculties and 120 Students in all three years. The exams are twice a semester for colleges and the board's exams are twice a year.

Internships offered by Tata power is for 1 or 2 years where we can get a 12k per month stipend. Minsole limited gives a stipend of 10k per month for 1st 2 months. Most of the companies have the project of improving the technology in our country.

Students are eligible for placements from their final year i.e. seventh semester. Companies visited here are:- TATA POWER, GE POWER, YAZAKI LIMITED, VALEO LIGHTING etc. The highest package given by Tata power is approx 35k per month. Every student who is willing and attends regular classes and has well knowledge about the subject can get placements easily. My plan was after the diploma is to become a graduate by completing a Btech degree and learn more about the subject to get a very good job.

The fee is approx 130k-175k without hostel facilities in various courses. But students having a good academic record previously and having low income in the family can get discounts from various scholarships offered by the college. The various scholarships are Asha-Jyoti, Swami Vivekananda scholarship, Weiver scheme etc.

Annual Edufest, Alumni-Student fest is organized. We have a very large library with good books from various authors on different subjects. Classrooms are neat and clean and all rooms are very large and well decorated. Every year Annual cricket, running and football tournaments are organized here. We have BCP social and cultural club.
