BCP- A College to Study Engineering

The eligibility of the course is that you have to pass class 10 or 12 with minimum 40% marks and/or Valid Jexpo rank card. The application form is availble in the colleges official website as well as in the offlline at our campus in Durgapur, West Bengal. There are reservation benefits as well as various scholarship schemes for the studnent belonging from financially unstable family. Honestly there is no improvent needed in the admission procedure as it is well organized.

This course provides job oppertunities in electrical core companies and that is the main reason why I have taken admission in this course. We have 10 faculties and 120 students in all the three classes(1st, 2nd and 3rd year) All faculties are well educated with having minimum an M.tech degree. The teaching mathod is really good with practical examples. Semester exam comes twice in a year and it is not that much difficult for a student who attend regular classes and studies well. Minimum qualifying marks to pass the exam is 40%.

Tata power provides internship with a stipend of 12K per month. Valeo lighting provides internship of 6 months with a stupend of 11k per month. The basic project of the Minsole is the mining work. Tata power provides power generation.

Students becime eligible for campus drive from their final year(5th sem). Tata Power, Yazaki India Limited, Valeo Lighyting are some of the companies that visit our college every year. The highest salary package provided by Tata Power is CTC 4L per annum. Yazaki limited provides 2.5L per Anum. Minsole provides 2.8L per Anum. Generally the avg. Salary package for the companies are 2.5-3L per Anum. Approx 90-95% students from every class who wants job and have good knowledge of the subject, gets the placement every year. My plan after the degree is also to get a job in a core electricak company.

The fees is approximately 1.3L-1.8L for various courses without including the hostel charges. But, a student can get discount by undergoing through various scholarship schemes like Swami Vivekanada Scheme, Asha- Jyoti Scholarship etc. if he or she having good previous academic record or belong from poor family.

The various Annual programs are:- Student-Alumni meet, Edu fest, Tech Fest, Angan etc. Mostly the fests are conducted on the month of november every year. We have a very large and well decorated library that has all types of books from various writers. The calssrooms are large, well organized and decorated and neat & clean. We have very large playground inside teh campus where annual events are organized on Cricket, Football, Running, Volleyball amd Basket ball. We have Our BCP Socail and cultural club which is connected to people from all across India.
