College life

I have joined the college through Eamcet. KMIT is one of the top colleges in Hyderabad. Eamcet is a key way to join engineering colleges, of course, we have other ways too. Cut off to get Information Technology(IT) branch is 7k rank in eamcet. Cut off may increase in further rounds. We have also have reservation benefits, As of my joining year, people who have got the eamcet rank below 10k, don't have to pay the fee(0 fees). As we know Government will pay for it. The admission process was quite good.IT is good to get admission to this college.

The course I have chosen was Information Technology (IT). Actually, I was interested in Computer Science but for my rank, I didn't get it. Also, both IT and CSE are quite the same. Coming towards faculty, they teach well and you will be able to have knowledge regarding the respective subjects. Every branch is divided into sections. Each class have 60 students. Faculty explains the subjects through projectors, writing on the board, sharing the ppts and notes and they are interactive with students by clearing their doubts. The Qualification of the faculty definitely reaches their position and more than that. As exams are considered, it is JNTUH affiliated. Exams are conducted by the instructions of the JNTUH. We definitely know that passing an exam depends completely on us. It's our duty to study well and get a good score. It is not so difficult to pass if you study.

We have many internship opportunities. We have great opportunities to get jobs in the companies like Amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Salesforce, TCS etc. we have mini projects and major projects too. We can do projects as per our interests too. Just grabbing the chance or opportunity is late.

From the third year , second-semester students are eligible for campus placements. Over 80 percent of the students got placed in a good company with very good packages. You will definitely get a good job. The minimum package is 3 LPA and the highest package vary with the years passing out. The average package is 5.5 LPA.

The fee details vary with the scholarship you get. It is 1,03,000 per year without any scholarship. If you get an eamcet rank below 10k you don't have to pay any fees. Coming towards the campus jobs or placements, they are good. We can be placed in a good company with a good package. We also have internship opportunities. The minimum package is 3 LPA.

Firstly, we can enjoy our college life in many ways. Fests are celebrated in a grand way. We have a library facility, you can get any book that you require. We have a basketball court, football, Table tennis, tennis too etc and many other extracurricular activities. we have clubs on various categories. Students can join the clubs, which they are interested in and explore them by showcasing their talent.

We don't have hostel facility in the college. We have many hostel nearby and around the college. As the college is in the centre of the city ,there is no problem for the transportation. Good hostels are available nearby with affordable rent and totally we can have comfortable life.
