Remarks
The candidates who have taken commerce stream for their higher secondary examination and scored at least 60 percent marks in their examination are eligible for admission in thi course. If the students are from any other board other than West Bengal Board then they also need to submit a migration certificate along with application form that is to collected through college office and then submitted along with requisite documents. 20% of seats are being reserved for scheduled caste.
Course Curriculum Overview
In order to get a good job in future I decided to chose this course. Also it is a minimum requisite for getting a government job. The teachers in the college are very well qualified and have a good teaching experience. Few industry visits also takes place in the college for well understanding topics. The term exams are held on a semester basis in the colleges.
Placement Experience
Students after passing out their final year can sit for the campus where interview takes place by big auditing companies like PWC and KPMG. There are different round of test after which they are given jobs with average package of 200000 and highest of 8 lacs per annum. Around 50% of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is being hiked for the students if they are not having enough income to meet up the admission and other costs of college. They are being provided financial assistance. Also scholarship is being given to students if they are meritious in studies or sports.
Campus Life
Annual fest is organised every year in the month of December. It is highly a cultural affair many students take part in events being organised in the fests. The college has library with books magzines and journals on different topics. Classroom are equipped with smart board and speakers. Also sports activities like cricket and badminton and football takes place in college every year. The college also has its own website.
