Remarks
The course is eligible for students who have completed their 10+2 examination. The application form fees and dates everything are available on the college website itself. The admission process was smooth and there was no hindrance. The improvement I would see is that taking up an examination for admission rather than class 12 marks it will give much better review of skills and students with low marks also get a chance.
Course Curriculum Overview
In order to pursue Ca as my career I chose this course and also this college is one of the reputed colleges of Kolkata for completing Bcom hons. All the faculties are well qualified with proper knowledge of their respective subjects. Term exams are conducted within a gap of 3 months but the exams are not too difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus from their 5th semester examination. Name of the companies that visited the college for campus are PWC L&T JP Morgan etc. Average package is around 2 lacs with highest of 7 lacs per annum. Around 40% of students get placement. I want to be a Ca in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is good and is quite affordable for the students as it charges around Rs 5000 for a year. Names of some scholarships are - Late Rukmini Devi Goenka Scholarship, Infar (India) Scholarship, Smt. Panna Devi Kanoi Scholarship, Smt. Kamala Devi Budhia Scholarship, A.K. Agarwal Scholarship.
Campus Life
The fest is held in month of Dec- Feb and few other business fests also take place Innovia etc . The availability of books in the library is commendable and it has a good infrastructure. Classroom are good ventilated with classroom big benches and blackboard. Extra curricular activities like cricket and football takes place every year. The college has its own website.
