Remarks

The marine sector is that which is growing day by day. In this the supply of graduates are less than the demand in the industry, so a qualified marine engineer can have a very good life in his/her future. Andhra University is reasonably good for studying marine engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Hardwork is required for every graduating student irrespective of to place he is pursuing his graduation, A year consists of 2 semesters here in AU, with midterms. Taking about the difficulty of the exam paper I can give a rating of 7 out of 10.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The roles offered as the consultant role. And some got 5th Engineer. And internships are doing in the Hindustan shipyard limited its helped us to gain more knowledge. And some projects we did like 30 T bollard pull tug.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes, the percentage of getting placement is good. Maximum it depends on the study of the students based on the core. And some fewer companies are coming into our department like SB MARINE. LARSON AND TURBO (L&T). So so companies are coming. And getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

No hike of fees will be seen during your course, you can get scholarships according to AP govts schemes. You can complete your course @40000rs for 4 years. I think it is the most affordable University.

Campus Life

3.5

Yes, many clubs are there in our Andhra University. Sone of them are : Dance club Singing club Photography club Social club And many more. And we have NCC and NSS also available. After 2nd year all students are available to apply and join the NCC and NSS.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are not so good because it's government hostel. Not so good with the allotted room. And we cant satisfy with the food with hostel also The registration process is still backward. With letters and payments is still with DD demand draft. Its good to develop with online transition and allotting room online is best to save time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
